Raise funds with your Containers for Change scheme ID barcode or QR code!
Your school, sports club, charity or community group can benefit from receiving donations from ANY TOMRA Recycling Centres or Kiosks located across South-East Queensland simply by using your scheme ID barcode or QR code at our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs). This digital fundraising tool gives you the unique opportunity to get everyone in your network to help you raise funds through the recycling of eligible drink containers.
Local Partnerships
If your organisation, school, sports club or community group is located or operates close to one of our TOMRA Recycling Centres or Kiosks in South-East Queensland, get in contact with our team at donations.qld@tomra.com to discuss our partnership opportunities and ways we could help you fundraise at your local TOMRA collection point.
Community Fundraising Bottle and Can Drives
Also called ‘The new sausage sizzle’, many community groups are proactively engaging their volunteers and supporters to draw out as many drink containers as possible that they then return to their local TOMRA machine to cash in the refunds. The funds raised help finance charity programs and essential local community initiatives.
These organisations decide to use the scheme to help the environment and reduce litter by placing ‘donation bins’ or large TOMRA collection bags at their local schools, swimming pool, footy clubs, or caravan parks to collect cans and bottles. You could also book our collection trailer to help you return your containers to your local TOMRA collection point.
Contact our team at donations.qld@tomra.com to discuss how we could help your organisation collect more drink containers from your local community and help you raise funds at the same time.
Our current appeal – Containers 4 Kids
Every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.
In that moment, they often receive a diagnosis that turns their world upside down. Suddenly, smiles disappear, and life is filled with feelings of isolation and loneliness.
To combat this, TOMRA and Cleanaway are launching a nationwide appeal for Aussies to turn their empty drink containers into smiles and support, bringing happiness to up to 6,000 sick kids like Aru and their families.
